When you create an account, we collect your email address and any name you provide. When you use the summarizer, we store the YouTube URL, video title, and the AI-generated summary. We also track how many free summaries you have used today.
Your data is used solely to provide the service — authenticating you, generating summaries, and managing your subscription. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

We use cookies only for authentication (keeping you signed in). We use browser localStorage to remember your sidebar preference and, for anonymous users, recent summaries. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.
Your summaries and account data are retained as long as your account is active. You can delete individual summaries at any time from your history page. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at the email below.
We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and row-level security on our database. No system is 100% secure — please use a strong, unique password.
This service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by updating the date at the top of this page.
